Just because I live in the States doesn't mean I can't dream for a day when people regain that "common sense" we occasionally hear about it

Re: WTF News!?
Hey guys, I'm back!
The Walmart story is kinda sad... I would have to say that Walmart is just as much at fault as the tramplers due to the total number of sale items available in the store on Black Friday. Sure its great to have a doohickey at a third of the original cost but why have only 5 or so of them in the store when in the 1st hour of opening (for the non 24 hour stores) you will have atleast 1000 people go through. This past black friday I was in the early morning crowd with a list of items to get (thanks to my lovely wife ) and witnessed two separate fights in the electronics department over who got to the last item on the skid first.
The Toy Yoda story is funny, but I believe that she eventually won the case ond got to pick out her toyota.

I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Saw this one on yahoo and then found the actual article from the Boston Globe...
"Caught in Rush Hour traffic, in labour, and ticketed..."

Re: WTF News!?
More media bias: Dog Saves Family should be 'Pit-Bull' Saves Family.

Funny how the breed of the dog is only identified when it's being used to terrorize people & to promote an urban legend that Pit-bull are only capable of harming people. I've rescued these beautiful, loyal, obedient, and athletic dogs for years. The deck is stacked against them by ignorant incompetent owners and by the greedy fear mongering media. Don't buy the hype!
