Re: WTF News!?
Why isn't it ever the "Kate Beckinsale" types that pull this?
Answer: Because no one would call the cops.

SAO PAULO, Brazil Police say a woman has died on the way to a cemetery when a traffic accident hurled her husband's coffin against the back of her neck.
Police say 67-year old Marciana Silva Barcelos was in the front passenger seat of the hearse when the accident occurred Monday in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Barcelos died instantly.
Her 76-year-old husband Josi Silveira Coimbra died Sunday of a heart attack while dancing at a party.

WTF News!?: Nobody puts Rebecca Willis in a corner!
MARSHALL, N.C. - Nobody puts Rebecca Willis in a corner.
A small mountain town has agreed to pay $275,000 for banning her from a community hangout after residents complained about her dirty dancing. Willis, then 56, was told to stay away from the Marshall Depot community center eight years ago. According to court documents, she was accused of gyrating and simulating s*****l intercourse with her partner while wearing a skirt so short it exposed her underwear. Willis described her dance style as "exuberant and flamboyant" but not obscene.
She's still not allowed to return to the refurbished train station where she once danced and socialized, but she said that's OK with her. Her attorney, Jon Sasser, said the town strongly opposes lifting the ban. "They said they'd burn the place down before they let her come back, so we decided to see if they'd put a monetary price on the right," he said. The American Civil Liberties Union of North Carolina Legal Foundation announced the settlement Thursday. Larry Leake, an attorney for the town, said Marshall's insurance company advocated the settlement. The town believes it did nothing wrong and would have prevailed in a trial, he said. Willis said in a statement that the settlement sends a message that the town should allow for diversity and free expression. "I am very happy with this settlement and relieved that the lawsuit is finally over," she said.
... lol xx

Re: WTF News!?
It's not Wal-mart's fault. If anyone's getting sued, it better be the jack knobs who trampled him.

Re: WTF News!?
Well the story I read has the same store's doors getting bent & crushed for the same reason just last year. There's some culpability in this for Walmart too. And if that report I read is accurate, it will be a hard fact to face in a courtroom. It was unfortunately a perfect storm of irresponsibility and stupidity on the part of many. An additional tragedy will be if this were to go completely unaddressed all-together.Blind Trooper wrote:It's not Wal-mart's fault...
