Custom Maps

Post by [JiF]Lt Gav »

Just wanted to say how much fun it was playing on the Custom Maps with you chaps yesterday.
To me the mix of maps seemed to be about right!
Strange how we get some people who only appear for the Custom Map night, but good anyway.

I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

So I had a look at your map. Could you make it a little clearer where the parking spaces are with some nice P signs & maybe some meters to put the money in while I wait!

Hey Guys,
I finally downloaded (correctly) the new and improved map pack and got to play some great new maps last night.
I rode my first sheep on stonehenge. I was laughing so hard at all that "baaaah"ing that i didn't mind cannedcorn zooking me.
It was nice to see a number of people on CMM.

BTW, if new maps are inserted into the rotation, is there some way of notifying us to download them (apart from checking the web site). I hate geeting kicked and then running over to the site, quickly downloading, only to find the map as switched.

Anyway, beware the Maus
Till tonight.....
Beware the maus!

Hey lil maus you're right that map is such good fun!
It is best played like we were doing it on CTF, it is much more like some silly cartoon chase game all whizzing round on sheep baaaing away.
The chap who created it has got the gently undulating Salisbury downs just right. I only have one problem & that is where is the A33 with the traffic stretching back for miles as everyone slows down when they drive past Stonehenge!!!
On the map addition bit. Maybe we could create a new thread called 'I want new maps'. Then if a new map is added the admin puts a notice on the thread. If you have the email me when new posts are put on bit selected in your profilem, then you get a mail telling you to go look at the thread. Just an idea!!

Somewhere in here is a joke about real men not riding sheep, but I don't like the double entendre so I'm not the one who's going to make it.

Although it wasn't the busiest day of the year, yesterdays custom maps were great fun once again.
Kudos to the admin (I forget who exactly - make yourself known and take a bow) who pulled up Toujane Tunisia with Bots. That turned out a crazy map - a complete zooka war - even MiniRambo was impressed! xx
We need to keep CMMonday going!

I love toujane, I think its a copy of a CoD map, great fire fights, an fun as an SP map too.
The same guy made Winter Storm as well, another map I think should be in the rotation
get it here: http://files.filefront.com/Winter+Storm ... einfo.html

BTW, I am about half way through my first map  its gonna be a WWI inspired assault on a Trench system with defensive bunkers, NO PLANES, a bit of Armour and plenty of Mud and Guts.
Will keep you updated on my progress.
BTW if anybody knows how to put bots in a BC42 map, please PM me. I need your help
