Bribe available for Berlin

I spent 8 hours solid on bf 42 yesterday (no - I DON'T have anything better to do, thanks for asking besides what's better anyway? ) and after a while the map rotation repeated itself after running it's course, but then I thought hold the phone, there's maps missing! Noticed that maps like Battle Axe, Kursk, Berlin, Stalingrad etc weren't coming up. Have they been removed from the normal rotation?
Curiosity has the better of me 'cos I've been away for 6 weeks so may have missed something.
Did enjoy playing Berlin CTF - gonna miss it. So who do I bribe to get it back? I'll get the missus to get her donut recipes out if thats what it takes.....

I'm wondering if people (us admins) are clicking things that we shouldn't be clicking on? We all remember taht we're not supposed to check or uncheck maps right? Just set next map or change maps. If you want something changed permanently let Mike know. I did notice a few things have come and gone.. I dunno...

the uber-Admins set the map rotations (Grimp, Mike, Tissue), and not all maps are set all the time,
if you want a particular map or game (CTF,OBJ) then just ask an admin and they can load it up (as long as there is consensus)

Right, but I do see that some maps have been checked/unchecked recently.. hopefully that was Mike's doing. Like you said, Mike can alter that based on feedback, as opposed to people tweaking it constantly.

I never check the boxes, scared of crashing the server, think we had discussion bout this before
but am always willing to change maps on request

Berlin CTF is the perfect map for people to get annoyed with each other. The amount of chat about hacks & the like is quite amazing.
Some like to take up sneaky positions & pick people off, but I figure the name of the game is Capture the Flag & just keep charging in there
Of course there was old hUTCHIE nearly every time with his rapid fire sten hack
It does make a good change every now & then because there's no damned flyboys bombing you from above.

I did add Berlin and a few other maps to the rotation yesterday. I also got the schedule going for custom map day working again...I think!

No of course not you Gav, I hardly noticed you on the chain gun counter.

Our friendly raptor visionary came out rather worse on Berlin - about 4 -1 to me if I remember rightly - my chain gun overheateth...

But alas my chain gun sten hack is no good if bison burger grills me in 10 shots everytime - maybe I should have gone for the bullet proof vest hack.
