hUTCHIE

They are already in the maps which come with the game so no need to download anything.
If you load up BF42 Secret Weapons go in to Multiplay & then select create game. You have the option to choose a game type in the top right of screen. Choose objective & you get a list of the maps available.

Hope this helps.

Of course you can have a little play on your own this way to see what's what without being killed any time you get within spitting distance of the objective.

Looks like a few of us have to work on strategy.
Telemark Objective did not go so well for Axis last night.
The Allies came in and handed our head to us on a platter.
They were very well organized, even knew where to park the spawn plane.

Well I just do not have anything in the cellar at the moment! A situation which I may rectify this evening on the way home from work.
I have been drinking out lately, especially last week as I went on a little trip to watch cricket & drink lots of beer :D
I have difficulty remembering what I was drinking, one had something to do with Sheep.

Back to the thread.

I can't believe you played objective last night & I wasn't there. I must have gone to bed. :(

Wasn't Black was it Gav? as in black sheep.

Talking of beers we have a nice Wetherspoons up here that sells guest beers in rotation every week or so.

They had an excellent plum beer recently which was highly addictive.

I might as well get in on this Hijack...

Have any of you gentlemen had chance to sample Schneider Weisse?
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

I was home yesterday and inserted several CTF and Objective maps.
People seemed to enjoy most of the Objective maps and the El Alamein CTF map.
By noon we had almost a full server.
There were several players that commented about how the liked the objective maps.

I asked them to post their favorite maps on our Forums. :D

I've actually played one now & it stank! :D
You can guess I was on the losing team. I think it's a learning curve thing, you learn best ways to attack & where best to defend.
The Telemark map seemed as though you certainly needed some team co-ordination.
Still if we are giving people a good experience through variety long may it continue.
Good work Corn!!

Yep you're right apparently it was Black Sheep. We went in the Wetherspoons in Leeds & beer was £1.50 a pint :D but it wasn't my round there :(

If you only have EGO-shooters in your group and no TEAM then these maps are simply frustrating... :(

Otherwise you should pray not being on the defense side. ;)

Well I must report that we had at least another 2 up last night & I am really starting to like them.
I played Telemark as attacker & Kbely as defender. It is definately about team work & experience. In Kbely I kept up the flag capture front whilst others defended home base. It was a horses for courses, I am good at flag capture, do not care if I die a few times trying to do it, I am just relentless.
Made for a really good evening as we had Alamein CTF thrown in as well.

I have, and I can't stress enough how important it is to carry engineer and bazooka packs only for this, as it will do the most damage, especially when working as a team. the obj. i've played on are Eagle's Nest and the Research Facility on the secret weps pack.

I forgot about Eagles nest OBJ.
That's the map where you have to blow up the doors and the safe inside.

Can be a tough map for Allies :D

I'd like to add that when you switch to an OBJ map don't just say it's and OBJ map, actually say what the OBJ is.. the other day our team spent the first half running around and capping flags completely clueless to the objectives =P They didn't get it...
