I was watching some baseball and didn't swing by until 10pm, but the server was empty. Went and played on the Noob server a while before letting folks get target practice in BF1942.

I just ordered the Orange Box from newegg.
Once i get my PC built i'll be back gaming next week.
Is there a JiF night somewhere, or are there any favorite servers i should be aware of?

Hey corn, I don't think theres a JiF night right now, but there is a JiF server. Check the top fourm for that. I don't really play bf1942 anymore (as you may have noticed), but I am on tf2 almost every night. I don't even have bf1942 installed on my new computer yet. I don't really have a favorite server, but the good news is you can see what server we're playing on via steam. Be sure to add me, my steam name is the same as this one ----->

Speaking of TF2 can any one actually connect and play on the TF2 server that has our name? When i try to join it says something about different classes and disconnects me.

It says no response from server.

I end up playing on all kinds of different servers.

When i hit the refresh button on my server list, JiF server never shows up.
My settings are set on all servers,non-password,not-full, and empty servers.
Is there a way to manually enter the IP address to find it?

I'll try again tonight.

I'm gonna take the plunge and buy the orange box (when I get paid) so I will join you guys on the server and get royally pwned for about 3 months till I get grip on the game
