lmao Seems the JiF administrators have got my life planned for the next few months, I have to sample all the Bells brews I can when I'm in Michigan US, Bishops Finger in the UK and Magners Irish Cider. I've always followed JiF admins advice, so I have a glass and a bottle of Magners beside me as we speak - with ice of course - the barman tells me it's to remove some of the fizziness. Yes, this is good stuff xx . In a moment I will be making enquiries at the bar about procuring some Bishops Finger.
The beauty of it all? My boss pays for it all while I'm here. So any more recommendations will happily be added to the list lol.
I WILL be in Mason, Michigan for 3 weeks from mid August, I'll keep you informed, Melon, of my progress in the quest for the holy grail - filled to the brim with Bells brews!
And hUTCHIE, I swear I have nothing against you - apart from the fact that I cannot kill you. I can kill just about everybody. Just not you. Ever. Not on purpose anyway. One day I'm gonna risk a server kick and TK you lol

Let me know if you'll be in the Detroit area, and we can hit the Berkley front. About 50 different beers on tap!
Incoming fire has the right of way!

Hey War Trophy,

hUTCHIE don't want to die.

But maybe it's time to give them back
my Jif bullet proof vest hack...

I know - to celebrate your return I'll fly a plane - then there is no need to bother killing me lol

So a Zookaman hey,

Well hUTCHIE graduated from mini's zooka skool.

It is the only one hit one kill infantry projectile weapon - there is no flesh wound with a zooka. The aim and timing is what zooka skool does for you. So far I have done numerous infantry, a fair few tanks and two strafing planes in combat with a zooka - one of them flying across me which I think is harder. I was on a map with mini where he did this twice to the same guy. This 'vet' couldn't believe it and called mini a cheater.

Why do skool rather than just combat - well the intensity of using just a zook in the same place all the time is not something you would get in combat. There is always an an annoying guy that you miss who has a machine gun...

Unfortunately skool doesnt teach you the other techniques a zookman has to have such as stealth and use of cover - essential when tank stalking - just watch mini in the field and you get a idea - I am just getting the hang of this.

Playing with Mini on TS is great, to hear him continually laughing after he has said "Gav you need a new tank" then BOOM he's right!
War Trophy I hope you are continuing to enjoy the English hostelries!
You are just lucky we are not in the European Football Championships, usually when we get knocked out again, there are pubs & bars full of angry drunken football fans.
This is a biennial event as the same thing happens with the World Cup. High expectations dashed by teams that fail to live up to them. :(

Man, I miss my daily fix of 42! But I must say the English have a great alternative to a bf42 addiction. All those luvly pints of ale and cider! I've developed an affinity for Bulmers apple cider and their pear cider goes down pretty well too! Kent is a really great part of England, great pubs and friendly people, especially around the Margate/Broadstairs & Ramsgate area. All respect to the landlord of the Hussars Inn in Margate for tolerating some conspicuously dubious behaviour by my dutch colleagues when The Netherlands lost against Russia in the semi-finals - as well as the landlord of the Wheatsheath Pub in Oxted when we came last in their quiz night on Sunday! What do we Dutch know about English cricket or Noddy and Big Ears?????

See you on the battlefield in 4 weeks!!

See I told you. The pubs over here are used to that sort of thing! It's a way of life for the English losing things.

AWOL again

Post by [JiF]War Trophy »

Tomorrow I'm leaving for the US for a well earned 3 week vacation. Gonna be in the Detroit, Michigan area and hoping to do some camping and hiking up around the Lakes, to work the rat-race stress out of my system. As I've just been in England on a 6 week work project, I haven't been on the BF42 server much, apart from the last 2 weeks while I've been back in The Netherlands.
But I did come home from England to a nice surprise: Upon my return I opened my mail to find an invitation to join the [JiF] team :D which I was thrilled to accept!
I'll be awol from the '42 server again for the next 3 weeks while I'm in the US, but I'll see you all in the forums. Been great meeting several of you guys on TeamSpeak, which I set up when I received the [JiF] tag - it's added a new element to the game for me - special thanks to sgt.hUTCHIE and Mini Rambo for showing me a few sneakies. I finally understand why these 2 guys always seemed to appear out of nowhere on their motorbikes!
See ya all soon!
