Mild language
Re: Mild language
I don't see you in the list of bans, so I have no idea why you were banned. From what I can tell, I don't believe you are banned right now.

ICEE,
Just a word to the wise... I'm not sure what happened that led to your ban, but our admins are the most fair and forgiving around. We generally try to follow the warn, kick, then ban model. Which means that in most cases folks get plenty of opportunity to correct problems before they're taken out of the game. It is tough to gauge sarcasm in chat, & for the most part if you've been warned already most admins will remove you for a short while if they think that the problem is persisting. The point of JiF is to have fun playing! For me, my biggest frustration is when a user is pushing the limits after being warned because I have to stop playing/having fun to login and stop them from disrupting other players as well. I'm not saying that you were pushing the limits, I wasn't there. But if you were warned about language, I'd try very hard to minimize the chances that what you say could be confused and create a problem! In other words.. play more chat less Try to have a good time and keep it simple and once people get to know you, they will better understand your humor.

ICEE,
Give it a little time, If someone has banned you they may not return to the forums until tonight. When they see this I'm sure they will answer your questions.

OK, I found the ban I believe. Would be nice if you played with only one name...the name you use in the forums so we know who you are when you are on the server. The ban expires tonight.

Re: Mild language
hmm this may be your problem then ICEE, generally ppl join 1 clan and 1 clan only.ICEE wrote:mike i'm sorry bout the name switching. trying to apply to diff clans has got me spinning in loops.
trying to collect the tags of multiple clans is not a great way to endear youself to the members of a clan you may already be part of.
If you try to join a clan they usually expect a level of commitment that is belied by you running off to join another .
