Custom Map Thursday (now Mondays!)

Who said anything about this being a democracy!?

I like the idea of moving to Mondays. I have not set a new day on the server yet to ensure we get enough input...which I think we pretty much have. I did (er, I think) disable the Thursday schedule so it shouldn't change to custom maps tomorrow. Sometime over the next few days I will enable a new schedule for CMM.

As far as the downloads are concerned I would prefer we stick with one file with all the maps. I know it's a monster file to download...but try uploading it! lol I'm happy to hear the new files are easier to install, I need to add Stonehenge into the big files but the means I have to upload the monster again...so I may wait until we add a few more maps before making/uploading a new monster file.

Sounds good! The map install is a million times easier now! I think the suggestion of cleaning up/removing the old posts is probably not a bad idea. If we could get a link to Stonehenge on the map page it would be helpful. Kinda like MS links hot-fixes until they get enough to create a service pack That way I don't have to put in in the shout box on CMMs. Thanks for the work!

Point of Order!
You've only had a proposal which has been 1st, 2nd & 3rd. The true democracy brother, would then have to put that proposal to the general membership for a full vote. We should also put it to the floor in case there are any other counter proposals that people wish to make. Of course we would have to vote on the counter proposals in the reverse order in which they are received until we arrive at a proposal that can be adopted by the membership after a full vote has been canvassed.
You can tell that I've sat on some interesting committees in my time where the above has actually happened.

Counter Proposal!!!!

How about one or two maps each and every day (except weekends)? Spaced out in between regular maps so that one custom map occurs every 12 hours or so at times when the server is somewhat populated but not at the peak periods.

If this proposal is not acceptable please disregard and cast my vote for a Monday CMD.

It seems that the server does not always automatically revert to the normal rotation on the following day?

i think Ease of updates on current maps is what holds back genral population

i often have to chase down maps if been away,
if BF42 is launched there is a chance that lazyness takes over........
