They have to...no more job after this season!!!! :)

Just hoping they dont pull a Stargate on us....paying $3.99 for the Ark of Truth to wrap things up, ticked me off when they could have just did that in a last episode....btw... they did do a nice job though if noone saw it!!

(ok, so i'm cheap...)

I'm glad they stepped up the writing on BSG, well deserved. If they hadn't dropped the ball the first time though, they'd have probably gotten a few more seasons out.

How about the Chief having a human/cylon baby after all? And with Baltar having his own cult?

The 3.99 Ark of Buck was pretty crummy of a way to do it. Even watching the DVD of it, you could tell it was edited for commercials.

You actually liked that last episode? I think I puked a little in my mouth in disgust over how freakin' dumb that episode was.

Maybe they can, I don't know, TRY TO GET TO EARTH? I'm sure some political junkie writer is happy to use the show to debate the merits of wartime presidencies and religious sects right to fight but each and every episode makes me root that much harder for the Cyclons to win. Humans may not need to be exterminated but most of the ones left on those ships we could probably do without...

Considering I'm a bit of a political junkie, I do like the current storyline. A little more interesting than last year's, but some more action is warranted. I liked the idea that the centurions would win out, now that would be funny!

What I still don't understand is how they expect Earth to be some sort of 'savior'? Would the Cylon's just die stepping foot on it? Or have a change of heart and not want to kill/rule all humans? Would the humans realize they Cylon's are human after all? Toasters with a heart.

It's a presidential election year. The last thing enjoyable is to watch politics on a scifi show. If people like politics that much flip to a political show or CNN.

As for Earth they have their prophecy that says when they find it they'll find their safe haven. Also I think they hope that Earth will have humans on it. Isn't the storyline that some people stayed behind when they shipped off to form the colonies? Then the colonies lost touch with Earth.

If Earth is still populated it stands to reason that they will probably be able to thwart the Cyclons plans to dominate everything. Although I'm not really sure that is their plan since they don't ever tell us how they produce anything other than the rebirthed clones. Frankly that's what I think is gonna happen but with these inane writers they'll probably find a planet populated by peaceful, advanced Cyclons who have fixed global warming and made the Earth into the pristine planet it was before the evils of modern industrialization took root. I'm sure they'll have some lame political point they'll make in leue of actually providing a satisfying conclusion to the series.

Otherway around on the plot, Sly:

Earth is the 13th colony - THEY left for the stars (and found earth).... :)

Just being plot-tically correct!! heehee ;)

I'll have to admit, watching last nights episode about the, who's going to be President, we know it'll be Lee, was getting quite tedious. Last weeks episode was pretty good, but jeez, they can't keep any momentum going.

Final episode

Post by [JiF]LtComStarbuck »

On the next episode of Battlestar Galactica, the landing party is confronted by a platoon of gorillas on horseback.

Special guest star Charlton Heston appears to utter "Oh my God...you blew it up! You really did it....Damn you all to hell!"

Yeah. Ummm... Lame did not quite describe the depiction of Earth.

I can't wait to be preached to regarding how Global Warming and Nuclear Proliferation caused all of this...

I liked the way they did this. I mean, if it was in the past, it would be lame. If it was in the present, it would be lame. If it was some depiction of how we are in the future (some futuristic society), it'll probably be lame. I think a direction like this could pull off quite well.
