Okay this is just freaky. I walk out on our deck 5 mins ago. A huge red tailed hawk flies out of my backyard with a squirrel in its claws. It landed a ways away across the brook in a tree.
I grabbed my camera figuring there is no way anyone is gonna believe this and ran to get a shot. I took a pic of it in a tree. Then another. It dropped the squirrel and flew off. The squirrel is still alive (not for long he isn't going anywhere). I will check out the pics and put em up.

I suck so bad at taking pictures. I was a little excited though
The hawk is the white blur in the middle of all the other blurs
The hawk in this one is the blurred blob in the middle

Okay- I watched a bit of the show Friday.
I enjoyed it more than BSG, which isn't saying
much given my current opinion on the season so far.
I got to see Blossom carried away- it was a very
Darwinian incident; the one that strays dies.
The other part with the one getting kicked out
by the upstart- that was just wrong. The leader
needs to get back into it!
Good stuff Grimp!

I was just wondering if anyone else finds the tinkling happy theme music does not seem suited to babies being carried off by hawks and gangs attacking each other? I find it kinda amusing
