U.K. Radar Trap Mishap

Post by [JiF]Djsmg »

Not sure if this is true or not.

Still a funny story though.
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

I always thought that the sidewinder is a heat seeking "air to ai"r missle...not a radar tracing air to ground missle.

After further research...Busted!

Not your fault Gav.
The press and individuals put out a lot of propoganda these days.

My mom emails stuff to me all the time, 90% are not true.

Got any investment funds? I have some land in Florida and a bridge in New York you may be interested in.

Hmmmm you did bust me!

It was not reported widely in the press at all. :D
Full marks go to Mr KellysHero for doing his homework. Still wish he had left it a little longer before coughing the truth though.
Oh us British & our sense of humour. Reminded me of a game show I used to watch named "Call my Bluff". 3 stooges used to give a description of a really obscure word 1 of which was true, the teams had to guess which was correct.

How's this one for you, lots of production to it, so I'll say it's probably real...Top Gear: Bugatti Veyron vs Eurofighter Typhoon in a mile race, which wins?

Please sir I know the answer to this one. My daughter & I watch Top Gear & they have loads of these challenges.
I think maybe there is some clever editing goes on though.
They raced the Veyron v a light plane from Italy to Central London (the Veyron won as the pilot couldn't fly over mountains or fly at night).
The guy that drives the Veyron in this (known as The Hamster because of his diminutive size) was involved in an incredible high speed crash trying to break the British land speed record. He was lucky to live.
