This might just be a spelling/cultural issue. As a Canadian I have a primal need to follow the letter 'O' with the letter 'U.' Of course the lack of formality in this expression makes the whole thing just a little vulgar and would also need a little work. Thus I would write it "hey Noub - please refrain from piloting any available aircraft unless you are properly certified and accredited. People who are not certified should restrain themselves from piloting aircraft until they obtain a high degree of proficiency! eh"

I must say I have typed this very phrase in chat several times. Unfortunately, by the time I type it, check the spelling and grammar the game has usually expired.

Ever see them ditch as they are taking off? It's funny, like a delayed reaction...they'll get to end of runway b4 bailing 10 secs AFTER you hit F6 F7!!!
LOL I saw that for the 1st time last night in Baytown. The bot got to the plane just before me so I did the old F6 F7 only to be shoved to the end of the runway. As I ducked out of the way the bot jumped from the plane & hit his parachute.

You noticed! :D
My avatar is now what I currently have stocked in my cellar. Last week it was Theakstons Old Peculier. This week I was a bit torn. I got 2 lots shipped in as I was entertaining over the holiday weekend and wanted to offer some choice. The other 1 is Wells Bombardier, but I thought this little number from the Shepherd Neame brewery in Kent was most apt for the BF42 crew.

NOOOOOOOO! I like the avatars LOL. Every new one I see I put on a shopping list to see if I can get around here.

So many flavors, so little time.
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

I'm currently (not at work but last night) finishing some old Guinness and sipping on 'La Maudite', a strong beer from our local Unibroue brewery.

And tonight, to ease the pain of a hot day on the tarmac, I'll indilge in a 'Blonde d'épautre', a pale ale made without malt. It has a very special taste, with absolutely no bitterness; very surprising.

Not sure what I'll be on this evening.
A friend is taking me to his shooting club after work. I have never shot more than an air pistol before, so I am really looking forward to it.
I figure we will end up back at the pub over the road from work, but as they have guest beers every week it could be anything.

The local pub within crawling distance of home has Boddingtons on tap. My current favorite microbrewery beer right now is 10W30 Brown Ale made in Neustadt Ontario. "Traditional dark premium English mild beer".

See you Canadians know how to do things properly.
Still if the US stick to importing our stuff it means I'm guaranteed getting a decent drink when I'm over. :)

They actually have a couple of nice breweries themselves - mostly microbreweries like Gordon Biersch, whose stuff is about as good as the equivalents of proper German breweries. Their brewmaster has studied over here in Weihenstephan and quite obviously has learned quite a bit...

The bot flyer can be a help or a hinderance. Generally you either get 'Ace' bot or 'Aimless' bot, the latter most apparent at the end of the game.

Bots usually get first rights to planes, particularly at the start of each game and resolutely refuse to bail out.

I don't moan about bot flyers, they never listen and probably have a better union than us.

hutchie.
Actually, they never miss.... the trick is to actually get them to fly over the killzones and not basically fly around in circles in the corner of the map near the OB!!!! :?

Lol yeah, I noticed that delayed bailing technique for the first time last night. I called f6/f7 early but the bots only bailed out the plane at the end of the runway and took out a friendly apc in the process, destroying both vehicles. Another human player, injured in the explosion, ran up to the guilty bot pilot and tk'd him. A true bf42 Bot moment.

i got shouted at the other day on a jiff server by a non jiffer :O who said that i was naff at flying etc.. so for the rest of the match i just sat with a bazooka and zooked all his planes while doing a spot of base camping, he went nuts.. :D

was most entertaining watching this "ace" unable to get a plane. Dom 1: 0 Non jiffer ace.

(thankfully he was on the other team )

Any noob who grabs a plane whilst mini-Rambo is on has to worry more about a zook round than an enemy ace. I believe anyone has the right to fly if they want to, although I like wingrides better. Just between you and me, most 3 yr olds have better flying skills than I do.
