Your finest moment in bf42

Post by [JiF]War Trophy »

I can't say if it was my FINEST moment, but definately the most rewarding - it was on Coral Sea. I dived onto the wing of a plane that was taking off from our carrier. I believe it was Waterboy flying the plane. I had never done this stunt successfully before, but I stayed on his wing, facing forward, until we had reached the first set of islands, when an enemy fighter approached dead ahead, guns blazing. I was carrying a bazooka, so I fired a wild shot from my position on the wing. The rocket actually hit the approaching plane and blew it out of the sky
Waterboy was probably too busy controlling the plane to wite a message, but he was probably pissed that I took his kill lol (or saved his ass)
Unfortunately, the recoil and plane movements threw me off the wing onto land without time to deploy my chute. Dead but satisfied.

If it was me, War, then here's what i would have typed:

'sweeeeetttt'...... ;)

yeah, sometimes I get to wrapped up trying to pay attention from getting killed, I loose track of the actual return fire!!

ps. plus, as you get older, the ADD kicks in, and the next shiny nickel (ie another plane comin!) can distract you very easily....

Joy from zooking the plane, or zooking waterboy? :?
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Well, I'm not one for stunts so it's a little trickier for me, so I guess it has to be on pure gameplay.

One man hUTCHIE army

Last week on Wake I took out this 4711 dude about 4 times in a row and he was not happy. He must have thought I was cheating because I think he complained to mini rambo to try and get me kicked. Then I totally owned the hut on the airfield. About 5 rock hard players including ERDE and mini rambo (fully tooled up as medics or assault) tried and failed to take the spawn point (not all at once of course lol).

4711 got kicked last night for his language! He was on a warning then it was the f word before hacker & as if by magic he was gone.
I couldn't say about a finest moment. I keep coming up with times that I do something that I get a smile from & a woot woot.
Finest recent moment though was putting on the new headset last night & being able to pinpoint exactly the direction of an incoming plane. :D

Keep an eye on that 4711 dude, I kickedhim twice (around 0900 pm est) from our server last night for langage and disrupting gameplay. He cooled down a bit after the second kick. He's warned that a ban is looming.

At risk of going a little off post,

IMHO 4711 is a fairly skilled player. The problem I guess is he can't handle it when things don't go his way. I sometimes get a bit narky if I'm having a bad game but not to the extent of accusing other players of anything. Usually other players say something that still makes me laugh. Once I had an extremely bad bocage, Lt gav shot me in the church and said 'can't go in there hutchie - wrong religon' so I replied ' Well I thought praying might help seeing as nothing else works'.

If there is one thing that playing on the jif server emphasises is attitude rather than aptitude. For example a friendly noob is welcomed more than a vet with a grudge.

Some of the other finer moments I have had are participating in team play. Usually with mini rambo, brick and wids67 where we are in a jeep or bike and just generally bust up the town. Some hair raising driving takes place and a fair few kills, with the vehicle is even better, plus 'rodger that' whenever we get something right.

My finest moment was a round with 0 death on Moongamers 64 slot server on Omaha conquest. I was floating. Of course it'd never happened since.

Aaaahh, the memories. Sad thing getting old !
