Earthquake

Post by [JiF]Lonewolf »

How many felt the earthquake this morning at 5:39am EST? The epicenter was 66 miles NW of Evansville,In and was a 5.4. I was watching the news this morning when it happened and I knew what it was as I had been through some out in Cali but my wife had no idea what it was. It lasted for 45 seconds here with about a 15 second period of it being violent as I could see the house shaking and my TV was moving around with dishes and stuff rattling in the cabinets.

I'm watching the news now and they are showing some damage in Louisville, Ky of some bricks that fell off a building.

We have a TV with rabbit ears in our bedroom. I heard the antenna rattling on the glass of some artwork we have hanging on the wall. I couldn't understand why it was rattling, but I thought it was some kid with a loud stereo system in their car. I live in Cincy. Evidently several people heard something here.

Our local paper has reported that it was felt here as well at around 5:36am. I didn't feel or hear a thing though...
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.
