I read a long how to play etc etc on a site once which said that if you bazooka the aa guns on a carrier it would take damage as well as the deck. As to battleships you couldn't attack the deck the place to aim with your zook is the gun turrets.
I tried zooking a carrier in single play once, it took forever, a waste of time in effect, best idea is to get in a plane or a def gun, much more effective.

Well whenever I see someone doing that to my ship it entertains me so feel free to continue doing it. I'll keep laughing. ;)

Do Expacks do damage to the factory or AA/Radar towers on Battle of Britain?

I have jumped into the factory area (playing Axis) and planted expacks on and around the factory but can't really tell if it works.

The answer is to play a conquest version on your own stand on the roof next to an ammo box & build a mountain of tnt & then blow it! When you have died swap sides & check mon what the state of the factory!
For tomorrows lesson children we will be asking how Waterboy seems to be able to find me with unerring ease over such vast map expanses!!!

Ok I tried this experiment and was able to damage the radar towers ....I was NOT however able to damage the factory. Either it does not work or I am not picking the right spots.

Frenchy,

This doesn't work when I'M in the tank......I've armored all my tanks with Choppin armor, so don't try it.... ;)

LMAO!!!

LT

another trick/tip - when you see Mentat coming at or near you with a mine - run like hell!!!

if you don't see him - just suicide....saves u time.... ;)

ps. I fly with keyboard & mouse...just takes time (like 3 yrs for me!!). actually setting up the keyboard ONLY works even better (gets rid of the drag your mouse problem)...havent tried this yet, but talked to a few killers who do it well...

Im pretty sure you can damage it by being an Anti-Tank unit and using you panzershrek. Haven't tried this though.
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Expacks will damage the factory when placed by the walls on the ground, not on top. And it takes a boatfull of the stuff to destroy it, can't remember the number but it's more than 60 time, not packs. And you can repair it as an engi. A good squad of engi can keep that baby up a long time as long as they don't keep getting killed by the bombers as they repair.

Same as the zook on the carrier, needs something like 40 or 50 shots to sink it, provided nobody repairs.

High score and kdr means less than nothing if your team ultimately loses. The best maps are close-scoring when both sides don't give up and fight tooth and nail for every flag. I found a way to frustrate and demoralize the other team by leading an engy rifle. If you practice enough you can score a hit way out of nade range on medics. If it kills fine, if it doesn't I have a second shot that is gonna be more adjusted and accurate. If it evolves into cat-and-mouse I torch the medic with rifle fire once his 3 nades are gone. I also love it when teams overpursue and take flags deeper thatn they should; i use their own momentum against them - shooting their flanks wile i am capping the other flags. Oh - and always watch out for mines.

New basics that I really need to learn are identifying flying friendlies. From an AA gun if I am not too laggy I have the map overlayed with the screen and have an easy time identifying friendlies over foes but when driving a tank or any other vehicle with a gunner station I have a hard time seeing if the person flying at me is friendly or foe.

Half the time I start taking shots before realizing that the person flying is on my team (especially after being bombed into oblivion a few times). Unfortunately a few times I've TK'd someone this way.

Any tips on making this easier? (Not to TK, but to identify friendlies)

Maybe try to practice on AA gun away from a major traffic area.
El Alamein allied is a good place to practice on AA at rear of Airstrip, allied planes takeoff away from you and most Axis planes tend to straffe field from opposite end towards you.
You can also tell your teams pilots where you are and try to stay away from area.
Another thing i do is say Roger That! every now and then.
You can also add your teams players as buddies on the scoreboard and they will show up in green color. 8)

If Waterboy is flying then forget about all this and hide
