The Guardian

Post by [JiF][AARP]Grimp »

Well I have waited too long to see "The Guardian".
Its last run in the theater here is tonight at 10:15 PM amd its 2 hours and 15 minutes long.
I have been wanting to see it just because its Coast Guard stuff so I guess I will be up way past my bed time tonight.
Anyone want to come along? I will probably be the only one there :)

Ashton Kutcher & Kevin Costner?!?
That's the one-two punch of death if you ask me...

10 minutes worth of Waterworld made it
impossible for me to even consider another
Costner movie.

IMHO of course ;)

But it is COAST GUARD! I've gone to movies starring actors that I swore I'd never watch again for the right movie.

Semper Paratus !

Actually I could tolerate Water World. Was just another SCI-Fi movie to me. I liked "The Postman", "Dances With Wolves" (even though it was an all white men suck movie" and I liked the G-Men one.

Well, that's a point.
Plus, there's the pure entertainment value
of watching Costner "acting."

You're right though Grimp, Collective Guilt...
er, I mean, Dances with Wolves and the
Untouchables were both good flicks...but
the Postman? That was almost as tough
to watch as Waterworld.

I'll give it a chance when the DVD comes
out- just to keep Tissuman from hassling me ;)

I dunno we actually own "The Postman" I have watched several times and I still like it, but I thought "Signs" was a great movie so you can't go by what I say :)

Odd that you mention that, we just watched the last half of Signs, it was on TV- I really enjoyed that movie.
A little suspension of disbelief, and it was quite good.

Another Costner movie I liked, Bull Durham.

Two thumbs up for Saw III. Not as gory as I expected, but it had a more meaningful plot with a perfectly twisted ending, definately better then the second one, though its very hard to beat the original. I recomend that you all see it!
