Post by [JiF]rIot »

I got this e-mail:

Thank you so much for your update. I am glad the vehicle is in good shape so I will take the vehicle for $2,500. I'll update you as to when shipping arrangement will be made so that you can be available when my shipper get's to your base to arrange pick-up and to handle the transfer of Title.

I'll be expecting the your full name/address and telephone number so that I can arrangement for payment of the vehicle.

please attach photos's of the interior and the engine.

......does this sound like a scam to you guys? Its a little fishy, he talks to formal and he ended it in "Regards"

YES. SCAM.

My brother gets these all the time since he listed a car on a online classified. It gets into a 3rd party paying you in exchange for money they owe the real buyer.. ect.

I was worried you'd think it was fraudulent just because of the formal writing-
I'd have to stop writing regards

I see a lot of people sign emails with "regards." Always kinda thought it was a little formal but it's not at all uncommon..

That's especially suspicious if you're selling it for $30grand ;)
