Thanks for stopping by and welcome. Below is something I cut and pasted from another post. We are not really a clan, but more a gaming community. We don't have too much structure like organized practices, etc. If someone wants to schedule a match they are free to do so. We are always looking for new Nuts to add to The Jar. It just takes some time for us to get to know people before we extend an invitation.

Canned Statement: Thanks for your interest. We recruit members from the population that plays on our servers. We look for people that fit well with our emphasis on good sportsmanship and team play. While we joke around and have a lot of fun, we also like a certain level of maturity. We don't tolerate behavior that takes away from the overall fun on the server.

We like to take enough time so people get to know JiF and we get to know them before we offer an invite. This can take weeks or even months. Ways to help with the process are to get on Team Speak so you can interact. It's easier than chat. Participating in the forums is a good way also.

Assuming there is a good fit your name will be brought up for membership.

So take some time to get to know us and let us get to know you. Enjoy the server and be patient. Our membership spans teens up through AARP members bound by a common love of a fun gaming atmosphere.

Cool...not a problem. I'll simply keep myself Greek in game (probably taken though). My old clan doesn't care if I use the tags on BF'42 (they don't play it anymore) so I may be <S8>Greek if Greek is taken. Whatever.....I'm rambling.

Greek glad to hear you're taking an interest in the JiF community. I've always enjoyed your playing style and attitude. You probably know by now that the JiF'ers are definitely a breed apart from what's out there.

Follow Tissue's lead Greek and simply involve yourself with the other folks via chat, play, forums, etc. Bribery doesn't hurt especially in the Grimp+pastry department.
