I have to agree with Sly.
I'm not loving the new plot path/twist- and it really seems
to me that they are going to great lengths to make a political
statement at the cost of the shows storyline and integrity.
That being said...I'll still be watching so I can drool over

There is no doubt that there is a political bent to the show, but frankly I don't care. My wife who is probably one of the last people I would expect to make a connection with politics or history immediately pointed out similarities to current events in Palestine and Iraq, but also Vichy France. She then said, "All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again."
My wife and I were significantly freaked out by the scenes with Starbuck's daughter. That kid looks eerily just like my youngest daughter and when she fell, my wife nearly lost it.

I can't wait 'till they get off that planet.
Star Trek vs Star Wars hosted by Telstar Logistics Very home made, but funny. I think Galactica would have nuked them...

Even though the name of the show is Battlestar Galactica, why sacrifice the more advanced ship of the two. Granted they would then have to change the name of the show to Battlestar Pegasus.
Did Tye really kill his wife? Or did he give her something to knock her out and leave her for the Cylons? A woman scorned...
What's going to happen when Boomer finds out she was lied to by Adama about her baby?
And looking at the revenge killings, is the Pres' Aide going to get wacked even though he was leaking info to the resistence?

That prosthetic fat he's wearing for the show really is the worse thing going-
almost worse than most of those made for SciFi channel movies
I was losing interest- though that last one was quite spectacular.
If they manage to get out of this rut and move on, I'll get
interested again.

Yeah. Great episode. Not only did they end the silly planet sideplot but they did it with one of their best battle scenes in recent BSG history.[JiF]Stepovich wrote:I was losing interest- though that last one was quite spectacular.
Sacrificing the Pegasus mighta been necessary. If the Cyclons had nearly blown the BSP up and the BSG showed they mighta finished the job. Pegasus would be considered the bigger threat. But since the Adama's didn't think this up together they didn't have a chance to consider which was better to sacrifice. Since it was rushed I gotta think they left a bunch of food/spare parts/toilet paper(Think about it. TISSUE!!!!)/pet meercats on board.
Nice job getting the BSP to take out 3 basestars - one on the initial push and 2 as it blew up. That's gotta be some kinda record.

They could have sacrificed the Galactica instead but then they would have changed the name of the show. It would have killed the marketing budget![JiF]Mentat wrote:Yawn... I thought they were gonna launch that guy on the catapult. I was bummed when they just let the air out.
Nice eye patch, Tigh!
Thinking back, would it not have been better to sacrifice the Galactica, rather than Pegasus?
