Re: I'm a geek because
This may just fall under the category of being an eccentric old man who just doesn't care anymore versus being a geek. Yesterday I had to have blood taken. Naturally you have to fast. My appointment was at 9:30 and I had some errands to run before lunch so I grabbed a banana, put some almonds in a baggie and took some orange juice to tide me over until I got home for lunch. Not so strange? Well, I put the OJ in one of my grandkid's sippie cups. Can you picture a 58 year old man driving down the highway drinking out of a sippie cup? Of course, I look at it logically: Problem --> Solution.

Re: I'm a geek because
I'm a geek because somebody at work told me I was & it was a woman so it must be right!
It was after we deployed an update to our web & email security package which blocked non-essential websurfing during working hours by default. How's a girl to survive without her shopping & social networking sites during working hours?

Grimp wins
I would have to say "Ditto" on the taking thing apart one. And for saying "Ditto" in the first place.

I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Since Grimp covered all the bases, I'll have to use one of his because it applies.
I'm a geek because my wife says I am.
...oh, and because I go to LAN parties

I am a geek because I have a computer on every floor. Basement, ground floor and a laptop upstairs, and I build all my desktops and wish I could build my laptop!

I'm a geek because... well so far each and every post has made perfect sense to me. Right down to the sippie cup.
