Crunchy Vs. Creamy Scrim - March 2nd at 8:00pm EST

Would you like to have a match or scrim with us? We aren't a competition clan, but we do play well with others.

Crunchy Vs. Creamy Scrim - March 2nd at 8:00pm EST

Post by [JiF]EA »

As some of you know by now, the proposed scrim with MW has been canceled. Since a day was set aside, and it's been a VERY long time since we've set aside a JiF night, I took Tissue's idea of a crunchy vs. creamy scrim. This will give us a chance to get to know some people, utilize team work, and most importantly, have some fun. I'm making this thread so that regulars on the JiF server can sign up, so please spread the word. I transfered the other members who signed up onto this list. If you would like me to make any changes to the teams, please let me know. If you believe any changes should be made, or cannot make it, please post in here, and I will make changes as needed.

It would be better if everyone could be on TeamSpeak. If you need an account please inform me or any of the higher Jifers (such as Tissue). I've made one for my friend Soldner already.

Might want to see the general response and just divide the list into two teams spreading JiF'ers across both rather than trying to match up numbers exactly between JiF'ers and others.

If you need ringers with no particular skills to fill in the slots and partake in the fun, let me know. All my weapons and my tendency to die will be available.

I agree, I don't think the teams matters in a crunchy creamy scrim- though, I may have to make
an exception if one of those weird crunchies are on my team ;)

I didn't really spend a whole lot of time dividing the teams, but I looked at everyones kill/death ratio and attempted to make the teams as fair as possible. Sir die-a-lot I will put you down under backup for now just until the teams are balanced. Will you be able to jump on teamspeak?

Ah, that explains why I'm on Waterboy's team. I bring his scores down to the average. :D

I would love to join in, but my trouble & strife returns from a weeks business trip to India next Sunday & my full undivided attention might be required elsewhere!
There again she will probably be so jet lagged & out of kilter for time difference, I could swing it. How long are we looking at playing?

Zouga, 8 eastern is 1 in the morning our time. They are 5 hours behind us for most of the time.

can i join the match? i am fairly good with infantry, and god-awful in a tank, if that helps you put me on a team. I should be able to get on TS

also, whats deal with crunchy Vs. creamy? I thought it was a clan or something until i read the top post, now I'm just thoroughly confused.
That's right, these posts are the result of the dedicated work of me and a room full of monkeys working diligently on our typewriters.

Jif peanut butter comes in several versions, but the two main ones are creamy and crunchy. Crunchy has peanut chunks in it. Creamy is smooth. http://www.jif.com/products/default.asp

Squeaky,

To add to Tissue's explanation:

Those on the Crunchy Team = a little more "nuttier" to deal with....
Those on the Creamy Side = a little more "smooth" in their actions.....

;)
