18-1....oooppps
Well it makes the season worthless when you don't win the big one eh? Ummm ya.
I don't like either the Giants or the Patriots but I was gunnin for the Pats cuz I hate the G-men more.
I just wish I would have bet on the Giants...I could have bought that new monster rig HP Blackbird with the winnings....

Last night I was suicidal, I guess all we get out of this season is a gazillion records... Sox in a week!!!
Re: 18-1....oooppps
I actually took this Giants in this one, I had a feeling that if any team was to beat the Pats, it would be the Giants. I was never sold on Eli, but it looks like he's growing up.
I'm working on solving the gas crisis.

"Oops" is right. Like Grimp, I liked seeing peoples reactions. I'm more of a Baseball / (real) Football kind of guy
I did enjoy the game though, it was good. I'd still rather see the Red Sox win more than I would've liked to see the Patriots win.

Re: 18-1....oooppps
I would have liked to see Brady pull it off but his line could not hold back the blitz and I don't think Brady even "showed up" except for a brief moment in the 4th. Moss should have gotten best player for the game; he carried the pats. Giants earned the win, but I thought it was over 2+ minutes left and the Pats had them and logged on to WoW. Then my wife was like the "the giants are winning". oh well. oh yeah and Eli is a tool!
Re: 18-1....oooppps
Didn't know this but I guess they didn't know if Brady was going to play up until even Wednesday, they had Matt Castle with his helmet on in the beginning of the game and had him practicing throughout the game. I guess the injury was worse then we were let known, which was probably why he had such a hard time dodging the sacks...
On the pro-bowl:
"Brady, who was selected for the fourth time, appeared hampered by what has been reported as a high ankle sprain in the Patriots' 17-14 loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII Sunday. He was sacked a season-high five times."

Re: 18-1....oooppps
He wasn't on the injury report so either the Patriots were cheating before the game and lying about his injury or they're lying about it now because they need an excuse.
I'm betting on the latter. If it's the former then the Pats can kiss a few more draft picks goodbye. The injury report is there to prevent gambling by NFL players. Falsifying the report prior to the most gambled game of the year would tend to be bad.
Making excuses after the game is a lot more Belichickian. I think it was Giselle's fault anyway.

Here's all I've been hearing:
"Blah, blah, blah, Brady, blah, blah blah..."
Giants played their hearts out, and Eli proved me wrong.
'Nuff said.
YAY GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
