Use this forum to post questions about banning or general problems with any of the JiF servers. It will help if you can provide as much information as you can (i.e. server, player name, IP address, date/time, map, etc.)

all,
I got another buddy of mine ( TENNEX) hooked on bf42. He has been having having a blast in the jif servers but he keeps getting kicked for pb violations. I had him log into our tech support portal at work and I loaded all the PB stuff he needs but he still has issues. The pb files don't appear in his pb folder after we save them. He is running VISTA :? . any suggestions? besides losing VISTA :D

How can I run my game with PunkBuster support under Windows Vista?

To run PunkBuster under Windows Vista, you may need to run the game as an administrator. To do this, right click the icon you use to launch the game. Select "Properties", then the "Compatability" tab. From that tab, check the box labled "Run this program as an Administrator" and click ok.


Also try going to this site and downloading PBsetup.exe. Don't forget to select what games you want to update.
