Any Jiffer out there use this router or are familiar with it?
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

I don't know that one at all. I did have an older Belkan wireless that drove me nuts. Wireless would just go away after a week and every 3 to 4 weeks it would just stop routing at all. I would have to power cycle it. Funny thing is I think is was an SMC engine. I gave up on it and put back a really old SMC without wireless. Eventually I got a Linksys wireless and although I can't say I have never had to power cycle it, its very rare.

Not familiar with that specific unit, but I avoid anything Belkin like the plague.
I have had nothing but bad experiences with them (I used to do network installs), both wired and wireless.

I think most N routers are hit and miss. I'd make sure you buy one from a site like NewEgg with a good return policy. I'd avoid CompUSA like the plague since they'll be closed for business in a few weeks/months.

I'd probably go with that. The reviews are a tad better than the Belkin N1 though both have a smattering of people who had to RMI due to constant connection resets. The features are definitely better. The people who got good ones seem to love it.

NewEgg gives Linksys their customer choice award:

That seems to be the best reviewed of the bunch though it still has plenty of the same complaints ie. connections dropping/resets.
