I was playin on Wake Island, the one with just planes, when i got shot down by AA gun. Just b4 crashin into the water i pulled the parachute. In the mean time an allied soldier had bailed from his plane just b4 crashin into carrier. So i started shooting at him. Much to my surprise I must have hit him in the head cause he died!! And it was just b4 we landed in the water. It was the coolest thing. Well really it was luck.LOL Im sure itll never happen again. Peace out everyone!!!

Cool! I've done a lot of firing while in a parachute, but it is mainly to make noise as I've never hit anything. My luckiest shot ever was shooting at a jeep with a pistol. It was pretty far away, but the random code gods registered a kill for me.

On Breakthrough (a Forgotten Hope map) I tried to shoot someone in the church tower with a Panzer IV and it went straight through the tower and all the way across the map and killed someone in their main. LOL

Mentat is also known for his "launching of Wespe shells" from Downtown Timbucktoo and killing you on Planet X....

ps. personally I now just like swooping down & running people over (literally) with a plane...... it's great to see responses to that!!!!

A question I have always wondered about -- can you killer parachutists with the AA gun? It appears not, from all the shells I've wasted trying to do it.

The amazing shot I'm still trying to perfect is sinking a Schwimmwagen in the lake with the Defgun on the research base map when he's sneaking away with the flag in CTF.

What's really cool if you are allied on Essen map, and you start raining down landmines and TNT while parachuting down.
I have killed several Sturms and Nazi's by doing this.

Pretty Awesome when you see a Sturm headed to forward flag and you drop landmine in front from parachute.

The day you shoot down a plane with the defgun, you feel quite satisfied, especially if you it twice in a row to the same pilot !!!!

my best kill was useing my plane as an unintentional tank bomb when parachuteing to capture a flag gotta love random kills

I use planes as intentional tank bombs all the time. I don't fly very well and can't hit much with bombs.
Its a lot easyier to aim the plane at the tank and bail out at the last second!

The kill i remember best was with a sniper rifle in the windmill of Bocage. American plane was flying in straight & i just took a random shot at it! I couldn't believe it when it flashed up i got the kill.
On the side i love the variation in peeps names, sit there trying to work out where they came up with them.

nothing beats taking a jeep full of C4 into a main jumping out and whatching it ram a group of players. Than blowing it up as your gunned down. Out in a blaze of glory and all that jazz, just with a realy big fireball.
