Chair Mats....

I was headed to staples to get a network cable and surge protector, and I was asked to pick up four chair mats. I said sure...when got back and the boss found out they were $55 each, she weren't happy. I asked what she expected and she told me under $10 each... I laughed. My boss is determined to find them cheaper, but everywhere I look they are in the $50 range. I just love it when bosses get something in their head and won't let go.

Take them back and get your money. Then buy her a $5 plastic table cloth with fruit and baskets printed on it. Tell her 'this is what you get for being a cheap boss. Enjoy your $5 chair mat.' Might wanna dust off that resume beforehand.

I was looking for one for my apt setup to go over the carpet.
CHEAPEST I could find was from chairsandchairmats.com @ $24.95 (small one @ 20"x10" I think)

Well..I finally convinced her that we weren't going to find any that were much cheaper without getting crap. So we kept them, though she wasn't too happy about it still... lol.
