I've been reading mustangforums.com for a while now, even before buying my Mustang. In early August a guy posted about a theft recovered Mustang he purchased from an insurance agency. It was a red '07 with less than a thousand miles before it was stolen. The scumbag thieves spray painted it black and put on an offset green stripe before trashing it. The guy and his father-in-law did a rebuild in his father-in-law's backyard garage. The guy updated the thread as often as he could with pictures showing the progress of the rebuild, with lots of teasers about what new color he was going to paint it. The thread grew to 35 pages and close to 700 posts, with people even offering parts and money to help him with the rebuild. Another reader of the thread condensed all his posts down and put it up on his website. It's an amazing transformation (lots of details if you have the time to read it all, otherwise the pictures tell a great story).

A Pony Saved is a Pony Earned.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

And the saga continues, not quite as exciting as a Pony restoration...
