Re: PEARL HARBOUR
wow..these maps look pretty cool. One thought about Custom maps vs. stock maps: When the server is jumping with 24 players (IE: Full and I can't get in), a custom map would knock alot of the visitors out (and let me in). Very selfish of me, but it's sometimes hard to find the time to play (when you ...

Custom Map Day....1 or 2 more coop maps please?
Hi all, If we could get 1 or 2 more coop maps added to custom map day, that would be great. If only 1 map, than I'd lobby to make it Karden. The only reason for a coop map here and there is for when the server gets to 2 or 3 people. We could vote/switch to the coop map until more players came. As it...

Re: Hardware firewall, vs. Software FW, vs. Router
Hi Boo, It's been a fair few years since I have been invloved in the sharp end of this topic, but for what it's worth here is my opinion:- I would say that the order above is pretty much the priority in order of intrusion protection:- 1. Hardware firewall 2. Software firewall 3. Router The hardware...

Hardware firewall, vs. Software FW, vs. Router
Hi All, Somebody here might know the answer to these questions: I'm an IT auditor, but I don't have massive amounts of IT knowledge. I have departments who have no firewalls, but store very sensitve information on their servers. Some of these departments have software firewalls. Is that adequate? An...

Custom Maps...More Please
Any chance that we can have a couple of custom maps thrown into the rotation? Coop custom maps are good when there are few players (D-Day LD, for example).
Can we empower administrators to throw a custom map or two to us from time-to-time?

Can somebody please give me step-by-step instructions for downloading the custom maps? I see the instructions that are posted, but have had no luck with them. When I click on the site where I am told I can download the maps, I'm asked for a password, which I don't have.

Vista "Upgrade"
Hi All,
I was forced to buy a new comp and it was loaded with Vista. Now when the server switches maps I get booted about %50 of the time. Microsoft says that BF1942 has an patch that solves the problem, but I can't locate it at the site. Any ideas?
Thanks
